Official Rules

Sponsor

The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Escapaways, LLC, [Provo,Ut];. References in these rules to the “Sponsor” mean Escapaways, LLC.

Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies, and members of their immediate families (parents, siblings, children, and spouses) or persons living in the same household are not eligible to enter or win.

Agreement to Rules

By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.

Sweepstakes Period

Each individual sweepstakes has its own start and end dates, as specified in the Sweepstakes Addendum posted on the Sponsor’s website. Entries received before or after the stated period will not be eligible.

How to Enter

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.

There are two (2) methods of entry:

A. Purchase Method of Entry

During the applicable Sweepstakes Period, eligible entrants may receive entries by purchasing an entry through Sponsor’s website at https://www.escapaways.com. Each purchase will receive the number of entries specified in the applicable Sweepstakes Addendum.

B. Free Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE)

To enter without making a purchase, handwrite your full name, mailing address, email address, and the name of the applicable Sweepstakes on a 3” x 5” index card, along with the following statement written verbatim:

“I am submitting this entry without making a purchase and acknowledge that no purchase is required to enter or win. I have read and agree to the Official Rules of the Escapaways Sweepstakes.”

Mail the completed card in a properly stamped envelope to:

Entries must be postmarked by the end of the applicable Sweepstakes Period and received by the date specified in the Sweepstakes Addendum to be eligible. Each properly completed 3” x 5” card will count as one (1) entry.

All entries, regardless of method of entry, have an equal chance of winning, given the number of entries submitted.

Limitations on the number of entries per person, household, or email address (if any) will be stated in the applicable Sweepstakes Addendum and apply equally to all methods of entry.

Prize(s)

The prize(s) available for each Sweepstakes, including descriptions and Approximate Retail Value (ARV), will be specified in the applicable Sweepstakes Addendum.

No cash or other substitution is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prizes are non-transferable. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize becomes unavailable..

Odds

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for the applicable Sweepstakes.

Winner Selection and Notification

Winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing under the supervision of Sponsor, using a verifiably random method (such as Random.org or other certified random selection tool). Drawing dates will be specified in the Sweepstakes Addendum. Winner(s) will be notified via email (or phone, if provided) within five (5) business days following the drawing.

Winner(s) must respond and claim the prize within the time specified in the Sweepstakes Addendum (usually 7 days). If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize, or fails to return any required documentation, an alternate winner may be selected.

Rights Reserved by Sponsor

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate any Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failure, human error, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or acting in violation of these Official Rules.

Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, and partners from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, including but not limited to personal injury, death, or property damage.

Disputes

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Entrants agree that any disputes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.

Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on escapaways.com.
